Check engine light on?

Your check engine light might be triggered by a faulty spark plug, spark plugs ignite the air/fuel mixture in the combustion chamber of your vehicle. The spark plug wires deliver the spark from the ignition coil to the spark plugs.

Faulty Spark Plugs or Wires can cause

  1. You will experience poor performance (reduced power, engine missing)
  2. Your fuel economy to drop noticeably
  3. Clogging of your catalytic converter
  4. Damage to ignition coils
  5. Damage to oxygen sensors.

For best results, taking your car to a trusted mechanic for his evaluation my be in your best interest to get to the root of the problem before wearing yourself out trying to address the issue through a costly trial-and-error process – which could result in new problems if not properly handled by someone with proper knowledge and experience.
