I have a range rover vogue 2004 model, it’s been serving me for a while now But it suddenly developed an air suspension problem.

The two front balloons don’t rise. They stay deflated and it really makes the drive uncomfortable.

I have taken it to several mechanics who use diagnostic tools to clear the error. It rises immediately but falls before I get back home.

@ettebiker for real? malfunction of the brake light switch of the range rover can cause transmission and suspension errors? can you explain some more or share more detail from your experience

Have you replaced the brake light switch? I have on 2 occasions experienced suspension errors, transmission error and HDC fault and in both instances the switch solved the problem.

It might not be the suspension is all i am saying.

Two things, the balloons are leaking or the height sensors are bad. What you should do now is to tell us which side is the Range falling to? If it is both sides, then there is a leak some where. Bring it to us and we will put it back on the road. The can bus fault will not stop the balloons from staying on one level. Is the angle sensor and ABS light also showing on the dashboard?

For you to get the exact fault you have to run a scan on the ride height control system. the result of the scan will make us know what to do and what area to work on. want you to be sure that there is still a fault somewhere.

This is what I feel about the car. If you say it when they clear the lights that you are able to drive, then there warning lights display on the dashboard. Tell us which light is displaying. Because I don’t the problem lies on the balloon.

The systems works on an intergrated network where information depends on each other. So if a particular system is bad it affect another.
